A shipment of Star Link satellites bound for Myanmar has been seized in Kanchanaburi province, Thai news reports said.
At 10 am on March 11, Thai authorities seized four large sets, 10 small sets, four printers and an air conditioner, all of which were destined for the Thai-Myanmar border crossing of the Payathonzu.
The driver and the person in charge of the goods were arrested, Thai officials said. The goods were to be transported from Kanchanaburi, Thailand, to the Payathonzu town in Myanmar, and then transported back into the country.
The goods, valued at more than one million baht, were believed to have been ordered by a Chinese call center gang on the Myanmar side.
