The terrorist groups came and intruded into Tatkone Village located in Mawlaik Township and arrested the village’s presiding Buddhist monk. The terrorists intimidated the villagers ‘no movement or no contact to anywhere; if the villagers conduct anything that the terrorists do not favour, the village will be burnt down.'

The presiding monk Sayardaw U Dhamma Pi Ya (57 yr.) with 30 years of monkhood was dragged along the ground from the monastery and shot by the armed group. The terrorists committed shooting leisurely and calmly, according to the source.
