Schools burned up by terrorists, bomb explodes at education office, staff injured in Naungcho and Kalaymyo

A bomb was blasted at the education office of Naungcho Township, Shan State on May 31.
At least five education staff was injured in the blast. The explosion was intense and wrecked the school buildings with mass destruction.
“Yes. The bomb was exploded where the teachers were conducting the meeting,” a spokesperson of Shan State Khun Thein Maung told the NP News.
The education staff who got serious injuries during the blast are provided medical treatments at Naungcho public hospital.
A group of the armed terrorists set fires at a high school located in Kalaymyo, Sagaing Region on May 29, according to the announcement released by the State Administration Council.
No. 8 basic education high school from Kalaymyo, Sagaing Region was set fire by a group of terrorists; two buildings and chairs and desks were burned out in the incident.
Two-storeyed reinforced concrete building and a two-storeyed building made with thin-wood sheets, 60 adjoining desks and chairs, 40 tables, and five large cabinets, having a total value of 23.1 million MMK were wrecked in the incident.
Another bomb blast happened on May 28.
No. 3, basic education high school from Dawei Township, Tanintharyi Region located in Rzarni Road, Mruakywa area was blasted by a hand grenade on May 28 at 2 pm.
A man was injured during the attack.
Schools and teachers have been threatened to be attacked and exploded for conducting the school enrollment and registration processes, and preparing to open the schools.
Terrorists attack schools across the country including explosions, bomb blasts; and worse of all, teachers were kidnapped by the terrorists in current situations.
