Democratic political outlets allowed except endeavor to national unrest: Senior General Min Aung Hlaing

The Chairman of the State Administration Council Senior General Min Aung Hlaing stressed that all forms of political outlets in democratic norms are allowed to conduct an aspect of political development apart from endeavoring to national unrest.
He made this remark during the cabinet meeting held on July 29 in Naypyidaw.
Senior General Min Aung Hlaing said, “As the results of the 2020 multiparty democratic general election resulted in political instability, the Tatmadaw had to take responsibility under the Constitution. They are doing the best they can under the Constitution, and they have given outlets regarding politics,” as quoted saying in the global new light of Myanmar newspaper.
He also stressed that country’s stability will be distorted when democratic political cultures are ruined. Those political situations arise due to improper use of political outlets.
National Democratic Forces (NDF) demanded to meet with the SAC Chair Senior General Min Aung Hlaing before the upcoming election is convened so that the political parties can submit their proposals.
The NDF also requested the Union Election Commission to meet with the political parties to have proper and better discussions.
