Staff killed in hotel bombing in Monywa

Terrorists attacked a hotel located in Monywa township, Sagaing Region named ‘Glorious Monywa Hotel’ with a grenade on August 29 at an estimated 5 pm killing one hotel staff, according to Myanmar Police Forces.
A pair of terrorists one man and one woman who were on the motorbike threw a grenade into the hotel. The bomb exploded at the gate. The security guard of the hotel Myint Than Tun (59 years) died in the incident by flying debris of the bomb, police said.
Again, on August 29 at an estimated 7:30 am, a 100-household administrator Myo Kyaw Htay (42 years old) of Meetaingtaw village located in Kyaukgyi, Bago was killed by terrorists. The corpse was found under the Mone Stream Bridge, according to the Myanmar Police Forces.
Another crime shooting happened on August 29 at an estimated 3:30 pm. The shooting occurred at a street shop in Kin village located in Mandalay township of Mandalay.
When a mother and a daughter were eating at the pork stick shop, four gunmen arrived with two motorbikes and shot and killed the victims allegedly ‘Dalan’ (means traitor or informer), the police said. The daughter died at the scene from gun injury.
