Insein Prison bombers arrested

The State Administration Council released the announcement on 14 November that two of four terrorists who set up the bombing plot at Yangon’s #Insein_Prison on 19 October were arrested.
Authorities arrested Chan Myae Thu (aka) Ju Ju, 25, and her husband Kaung Htet (aka) Poe Si, 25 on 25 October after six days after the blast.
On 19 October, two bombs went off at the gate of Insein Prison where parcels and materials for prisoners were received wherein eight were killed including three prison personnel and five visitors.
According to the confession of the #terrorist couple, the husband Kaung Htet (aka) Poe Si is a #CDM person who quit his job at Myanma Railway (Yangon) on 8 February 2021. The couple joined in the protest. The wife Chan Myae Thu (aka) Ju Ju became a terrorist member of ‘Z Fighter’ which has approximately 80 terrorist members. They connected with each other via telegram channel.
The husband Kaung Htet (aka) Poe Si got in contact with a female who named herself the code name of ‘Eagle’ in April 2022 through facebook.
‘Eagle’ assigned Kaung Htet (aka) Poe Si as a member of the ‘Special task agency of Burma (STA)’. He earned 100,000 Kyat per month to conduct the terrorist plots.
As per directive by ‘Eagle’, Kaung Htet committed the plot together with Kyaw Hein, who remains to be seized while Chan Myae Thu (aka) Ju Ju took a video record of the terror scene.
Kaung Htet (aka) Poe Si and Kyaw Hein placed the parcel bombs at the Insein Prison gate and material inspection gate. Then, left and detonated the bombs.
Authorities are carrying out the mission to seize the female terrorist leader with the code name ‘Eagle’ and Kyaw Hein.
In addition, Kaung Htet (aka) Poe Si also involved in the terror assassination against the Immigration and Manpower Department of Yangon’s Thingangyun township on 12 August wherein two immigration officers were shot; one officer died in the incident.
