Myanmar Navy’s more Super Dvora commissioned

Yesterday, on the 75th Anniversary of the #Myanmar_Navy, two more #Super_Dvora Mk III Class patrol boats were commissioned.
The ceremony of new ship crafts commissioning at the Diamond Jubilee of the Myanmar Navy was held at No. 3 Naval Jetty in Yangon December 24.
Engineer officers from the Myanmar Navy, who built the Super Dvora patrol boats with assistance from foreign, are now expected to build independently more upgraded boats by the Commander-in-Chief of the Defense Services.
The Super Dvora Mark III-class patrol boat is the latest generation of the Dvora family of fast patrol boats or fast attack craft.
“Starting from last 75 years, the Myanmar Navy has been upgrading step by step. Guided missile stealth frigates can be built by ourselves and now we are even ready to battle,” the CIC Senior General Min Aung Hlaing addressed during his speech on the day.
Myanmar Navy’s first flagship ‘Mayu’ was commissioned on May 25, 1947.
