Myanmar expects to serve Blue Water Navy Ambition

The Commander-in-Chief of Defense Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing disclosed that the #Myanmar_Navy is projected to build and upgrade to have the capability of operating globally across the deep waters of open oceans after it has been fully developed into ‘Three Dimensional Combat Ready Navy’.

The CIC highlighted it during the ceremony of the Diamond Jubilee of the Myanmar Navy that was held at No. 3 Naval Jetty in Yangon on December 24.

The Myanmar Navy’s at the time goal is to develop for serving as the ‘Adjacent Force Projection Navy,’ said the CIC urging the navy institution to continue upgrading its standard.

Possessing more than 140,000 water square miles with coastal line of an estimated 1300 water miles, Myanmar now emphasizes on the National Maritime Security as the third stage of mission so as to reap advantage from the Seaborne Trade, the country expects.
