Myanmar Navy prepares not only for Open Sea Battle but also for River-crossing Operations

“As per the causes demanded by today era in an aspect of security issue, the Myanmar Navy prepares not only for the traditional Open Sea Battle, but also, the River-crossing Operations come to be focused at current situation,” the Commander-in-Chief of the Defense Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing added in his speech during the ceremony of the Diamond Jubilee of the Myanmar Navy that was held at No. 3 Naval Jetty in Yangon on December 24.

The newly commissioned indigenous 23 meter #Landing_Crafts were built with modification to the land and water natures of Myanmar, which are mainly projected to serve for #river_crossing_operations, security, patrol and battle aims.

Building low tide ship crafts involve in the next step projects of upgrading Myanmar Navy purported to serve security, patrol and operations (if necessary) along Ayeyarwady, Chindwin and Delta regions, as per the CIC speech.

Two more indigenous #Super_Dvora Mk III Class patrol boats were commissioned on the day.
