The office of the National Solidarity and Peace Negotiation Committee (#NSPC) was attacked by the bomb on January 20 at an estimated 2 pm.
The NSPC is located in Yangon’s Kamayut, 10 Ward, Shweli Street.
A source close to NSPC recounted to NP News that a group of #terrorists threw the bomb from outside of the compound.
“Yes, the office was attacked by the bomb. Cars that were parked in the compound were hit. It wasn’t a hand-made bomb. It was a grenade,” he said.
Another bomb was also found near the scene.
The NSPC, formerly known as Myanmar Peace Center, is the place where #peace was discussed between the successive previous governments and the ethnic armed forces.
