PDFs shoot passenger vehicle in Bokpyin; fatality include minor

It is reported that the #PDF #terrorists attacked a passenger vehicle in Bokepyin township, Thanintharyi region, in which 9 years old male student and a young girl died.
The incident happened on 17 February at an estimated 4 pm near a middle school located in Bokpyin, Thanintharyi. The terrorists forced to stop the vehicle on the way and started shooting at the moment the vehicle wasn’t in fully stop in the inertia of moving, personnel from Thanintharyi Region government told NP News.
The passenger vehicle carried 10 passengers. It was running from Myeik to Kawthoung.
Due to the terror shooting, a Grade 2 male student, namely Pyae Phyo Aung and 21 years old female Pyae Wah Soe died, the official continued.
“An armed group forced to stop the car. But the car was driving with speed so it passed them. Then, they started shooting. A student and a girl who sat at the back seat were hit by the gunshots. The car stopped at that time,” the witness confirmed to NP News.
Then, the terrorists conducted some actions like investigations and took the injured student and girl to their camp and reportedly gave first aids, said the witness continuing that “Soon later, they said the two injured persons died on the way and they brought the bodies back.”
At present, the corpses were sent to Thanintharyi Public Hospital.
There was an incident that a passenger vehicle was also shot by the PDF terrorists killing one Buddhist monk and one civilian; injuring others.
