Myanmar CDC expects to complete Disease Control Center in December in Naypyidaw

The development project of Myanmar Center for Disease Control and Training Center for Medical Staff (#Myanmar_CDC) in Naypyidaw, worth of 400m Chinese Yuan, is projected to finish in the upcoming December, according to Union Minister Dr. Thet Khine Win.

The Union Minister visited the construction site on February 24.

The project is a hallmark of cooperation and friendship between #Myanmar_and_China; and the center is instrument for prevention and control of transmittable diseases and pandemic that might be broken out regionally and globally, the minister said.

Measurements for prevention and control of transmittable diseases, diagnosis, researches & development, and trainings will be accessed at one stop at the center. Technicians from China’s CCCC Third Habouring Co.,Ltd are taking responsibility of the construction, as per information.

The project will involve two-storeyed building for administration processes; laboratories with Biosafety level (2) and (3); and three-storeyed building for teaching.
