Election is the way out for Myanmar and its people, not for SAC: Kyar Phyu Party

Formerly known as #White_Tiger_Party (aka) Kyar Phyu Party, the newly established #Shan_and_Ethnic_Groups_Democratic_Party remarks that the election isn’t just a mere egress for the State Administration Council; in fact, it is the way out for the country and the public to escape from the conflict.
The Chairperson of the Shan and Ethnic Groups Democratic Party Sai Ai Pao underlined it during the press conference held on March 8 at the party headquarters located in Strand Road, Ahlon Township, Yangon.
Although it has been more than two years that the country has been in dilemma and conflicts, it can be said that situations are getting stable at the moment, he commented.
Sai Ai Pao remarks, “Election is the only exit for all difficulties and conflicts happening in Myanmar.”
“Some say that the election is a benefit for the government. Actually, it is the way out for the whole country and for the whole public. The civilian government will be elected only through the election and that is why we need to escape from it,” the party’s Yangon Region liaison officer Hla Htay said.
"If the public avoids or refuses to vote in the election, stakeholders from the different side will take the State power easily then. Therefore, we will choose the election way as we believe that the election is the only exit for the whole country,” he continued.
The Shan and Ethnic Groups Democratic Party submitted party registration at the Union Election Commission to run for the election at the Union level. It announces to contest in the upcoming election in 45 constituencies in Yangon Region; 26 in Ayeyarwady Region; 28 in Bago Region; 28 in Mandalay Region; 25 in Magwe Region; 8 in Naypyidaw and 46 in Shan State.
