PDF terrorists drop bombs into Water Festival celebrating crowd in Sagaing; at least 8 died

The PDF terrorists dropped bombs into the crowded people who were celebrating traditional Water Festival and splashing water. At least eight including five minors died and 31 others were wounded in the terror bombing.
Four drone bombs were dropped into the crowd. The incident happened on April 13 (First Day of Thingyan) at an estimated 5:40 pm in Kyalpon Village located in Sagaing Region, according to the announcement released by the State Administration Council (SAC).
The SAC’s Information Team released the announcement today (April 14 – Second Day of Thingyan).
Wounded persons were sent to the Sagaing Public Hospital by the security forces.
Yesterday (April 13), three bombs went off from the vehicle that was parked near Lashio Central Pavilion, located in Lashio, Shan State, in which at least five died and five others were wounded.
The PDF terrorists have been threatening to ruin the Myanmar traditional Water Festival this year, last year, and 2021.
On the other hand, authorities scheme to convene the traditional festival across the country under tight security. Terrorists who plotted to explode the crowded areas in Yangon, Mandalay and other cities were seized with ammunitions on days before the festival.
On April 5, Tatmadaw counter-terrorism forces captured Inle PDF members who planned to explode the Inle Floating Thingyan Festival with high explosive devices which were made in the petrol containers that can hold five gallons. They plotted to bomb the Thingyan festival with remote controller.
