PDF terrorists’ artilleries landed in monastery injuring the Presiding monk in Kawkareik

It is reported that the PDF terrorists fired with the artilleries which dropped on a Buddhist monastery and making an explosion. The Presiding monk of the monastery was wounded in the incident.
That terrorist incident took place on June 15 in Kawkareik township, Kayin State, according to the statement released by the State Administration Council.
Joint forces of KKO (Split) and PDF terrorists launched the attack from the place 2000 meter north to Kawkareik.
Therefore, Territorial Battalion Headquarters of the Military fired back making the terrorists to retreat to northeast of the town, according to the SAC.
During the incident, the launchers shelled by the terrorists dropped on the buildings in the Zawtirama Buddhist monastery compound and exploded.
The Presiding Monk namely Batdasakawvida was hit and wounded by the blasted bomb particles; therefore, the monk was taken to the Public Hospital of Kawkareik District to provide medical treatment.
The security forces are carrying out the investigations to arrest those terrorists who committed the terror incident, the statement said.
