Authorities relax tax for import during fixing Myawaddy road

The Department of Trade announced on August 18 that importers shall be exempted tax including license fees for import products during the fixing period for Myawaddy road.
Some parts of the Myanmar-Thailand Road were damaged and landslided on August 7 in the torrential rain. Therefore authorities are carrying out repairing works.
The department also allows transporting goods of license paid via shippment and other routes located on Myanmar-Thai border gates so as to have convenience in commodity fow even during the road fixing period.
