Security measures underway in Mandalay

Necessary security measures are underway in Mandalay Region, according to the report by a source close to the Mandalay Regional Government to The NP News.
The residents in Mandalay Region are worrying of expending armed clashes from Madaya and Singu townships.
“We are conducting the process of security measures within Mandalay City. I would like to inform the public not to be worried. However, there are clashes in Madaya,” he said.
The Mandalay city-dwellers are observing the situation of the city with fear whether the armed conflicts are infecting their city.
“We were really worried about the condition like if we have to prepare the packs and leave the city. However, when we think about it thoroughly, we were lost what to do to survive. Then, we read and listen to the news which calmed us not to move and to stay still,” a small business owner from Mandalay said.
