PDF detonates bomb near Sagaing General Hospital causing damage

A bomb planted by the PDF exploded near the Sagaing General Hospital in Sagaing Region, causing damages, according to sources close to the security forces.
The incident occurred on February 15, around 6 pm, when the PDF detonated a land mine at the foot of a tree near the wall outside the fence south of the Sagaing Township’s General Hospital.
The explosion reportedly shattered glass windows on the walls of the orthopedic department, obstetrics and gynecology department, X-ray department, laboratory department, and medical and social relations department at the hospital.
In addition, the above source also said that a male patient undergoing an X-ray in the X-ray department suffered a crack injury on his back from shattered glass due to the explosion.
Similarly, on November 4, 2024, the PDF also attacked Sagaing University with drop bombs and weapons, causing damage to the staff housing and injuring two pregnant teachers and their children.
