‘Rohingya’ – a loony card to play Myanmar

The Rohingya (Bengali) issue has lately become a card of choice for the US-led world whenever they couldn’t find another way to disgrace Myanmar.
The US Secretary of State has floated up the card, which they accuse ‘Genocide on Bengali community’ a few days ago to make a political burden or to defame the military-led State Administration Council of Myanmar as the council has gradually gained potential signs of progress in its domestic tranquility and politics.
“The US made its announcement coincidently the same time as the Asean special envoy Prak Sokhonn visits Myanmar. The special envoy has met with Japan’s foreign minister before his visit to Myanmar. Again, Sasakawa met with the EAOs earlier. I think progress was made. The SAC eventually gain an advantage in power politics in this aspect”, a freelance political analyst said.
‘Genocide’ – an ill-combined accusation with a lack of primary source to prove the Myanmar military actually committed the act is a hundred percent dull. Improper evidence won’t make a perfect accusation against Myanmar as the reality was totally reversed.
However, barbarous acts have been occurring in the country indeed, not by the Myanmar military but by the PDF. You will see a total bloodlust committed by the PDFs; about which the international media outlets never disclose.
PDF is an insurgent group known as People Defense Forces, backed by the NUG (the on-air government); so is backed by the US.
PDF became criminals at last as they’re wearing armed; they commit anarchic non-stop atrocities on daily basis in the country against the civilians who have different political perspectives to them or failed to join in the civil disobedience movement or somehow connected to Tatmadaw.
The armed group drifts its status by itself towards a terrorist group far from the level of ‘insurgent’.
“We don’t support PDF…. They will transform into dacoits later as they possess weapons ….” Restoration Council of Shan State’s chair Yawd Serk remarked in an interview with a China media recently.
Killing innocents for no reason isn’t a political revolution, but terrorism.
Politically neutral livings mostly in outskirt territories where the government’s administration is loose have been brutally murdered, slaughtered, and exterminated by the PDF daily (daily). Victims range from Buddhist monks, teachers, health workers, village/ward administrators, and veterans to members of the Union Solidarity and Development Party.
National League for Democracy claimed 600 of its party members have been arrested. It was widely zoomed in by the news pages.
Bloody truth on the other hand is more than 900 USDP members were killed by the PDFs a year back; covered by disinformation.
Whether the NUG fails to control these committed brutalities or deliberately let them happen is rather dubious. The US-backed NUG has lately turned down considerable prestige among the majority population.
“Asean envoy and Sasakawa meet with the EAOs, political parties, and ethnic CSOs. But the NUG doesn’t include in their visits. We are wondering how the US and the west group will uplift the NUG’s role in this time as its reputation has been rotten under anarchic brutality. The US’s determination of genocide on Rohingya against Myanmar military is making an equation between the barbarities of the two sides – PDF and the Myanmar army. Statement on Rohingya is just an accusation of slandering the government,” the political analyst told the NP news.
Tun Aung Kyaw from Arakan National Party was quoted saying in the Channel News Independence that “we notice this involves political manipulations played by the great power countries … they wanna generate political profits from the arisen issue or they infiltrate a political scenario that they wanted,” referring the US’s announcement.
As of now is a turmoil situation for the country. The west group reiterates the genocide issue; discrediting the Myanmar government is a mere tu quoque fallacy as the ICJ hasn’t made any clear judgment yet. Genocide on Bengali announcement is an obvious catalyst to provide a great heat on the country.
