Pa-O party summits party registration under new law

The Pa-O National Organization (#PNO) has submitted to renew its party legal status at the Union Election Committee (UEC) on 16th February in accordance with newly enacted #Political_Parties_Registration_Law under Section 25.
The State Administration Council has released the Political Parties Registration Law 2023 on 26 January for the formation of political parties.
The Pa-O National Organization (PNO) applied for the permission to renew the registration at the UEC.
UEC is going to conduct further verification for the party. The PNO party is the fifth political party which has applied for party registration under the new law for political parties registration after Union Solidarity and Development Party, Union Democracy Party, Federal Democratic Party, and Myanmar People’s Democratic Party.
