Myanmar, Laos discuss opening friendship bridge and border offices ASAP

According to the news released by the State Administration Council (SAC), delegations from Myanmar and Laos led by Lt. Gen. Yar Pyae and H.E. Pol. Gen. Vilay Lakhamfong respectively met and discussed opening the friendship bridge and border affairs offices as soon as possible.
Both sides also talked to increase collaboration between home affairs ministries and to resume the meetings and exchange talks between two nations as per the MoUs made by the minister level.
Combating drugs, human trafficking, armed smuggling, online crimes and issues related for border stability were also discussed during the meeting.
