Hotel bookings in Bagan high for Thidingyut holiday

In-advance bookings for Thidingyut holiday were increasingly witnessed in Bagan heritage zone located in Nyaung-U, Mandalay Region since October 27. Most bookings were made via online, as per reports.
Visitors usually enjoy visiting historic stupas, pagodas and temples in Bagan, studying mural paintings, taking personal and scenic photos, modelling for amateur arts, riding horses and e-bikes in Bagan.
Normally, from 50 thousand to 100 thousand tourists visit Bagan during Thidingyut Festival. There are a total of 81 hotels, motels and guest houses in Bagan. Online bookings for Thidingyut Festival for the following days: October 27 and 29 have been increasing, according to Department of the Directorate of Hotels and Tourism (Bagan Office).
