As per report, the illegal items were captured during inspection at the import department of Yangon Airport on 3rd November by the management of the Customs Department.
During the inspection, 16 gold bars (16-kilogram) with 999.9 1 Kilo stamps which worth (3,946,500,000) kyats and 259 iPhone 15 ProMax worth 100 USD worth 120,000 USD were seized without any documents from the trunks of three passengers.
Therefore, those three arrested passengers with illegal items are now being carried out to take action in accordance with procedures of Custom Law.
