Senior General kicks off working trip to China

Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, departed for China on the morning of August 30 via the Tatmadaw Airport in Naypyidaw on a working visit at the invitation of Chinese President H.E. Mr. Xi Jinping.
During the working visit, Senior General will participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit 2025 to be held in Tianjin, attend the military parade to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War to be held in Beijing, and hold talks with H.E. Mr. Xi Jinping.
In addition, the delegation will meet and discuss with other heads of state attending the ceremony, hold talks with government officials of the People's Republic of China, visit famous places in China, observe various sectors including education, industrial production, and economic sector, and discuss ways to further develop and strengthen the friendship, economic and multi-sectoral cooperation between the two governments and peoples, according to the SSPC’s previous statement.
Furthermore, during the visit, Senior General will discuss ways to further develop and strengthen the friendship, economic and multi-sectoral cooperation between the governments and peoples of the two countries. –
