US-sponsored anti-peace part of KIA turned against China becomes sturdier

Kachin Independence Army/ Kachin Independence Organization (KIA/KIO) splits into two groups backed by China and American in recent time. The disunity among the organization rejects the suggestion provided by China to join the peace talk, said the NP’s news source.
Senior General Min Aung Hlaing invited the leaders of ethnic armed forces on April 22, 2022, to discuss the peace. The KIO refused the invitation on May 6.
According to the inside information, the KIO’s internal affairs have lately become complicated and changes in their headquarters’ structure and locations are almost confirming.
“Conditions turn out to be declining China’s guidance to discuss peace. Let’s say American-centered group becomes stronger within the organization than China-centered group,” told the NP’s source.
KIA’s reinforcements and supports on the PDF (People’s Defense Forces – by-product of the country’s 2021 political crisis) seemed its efficient strategic approach to reap the advantages from the US-led group behind the NUG (opposition group National Unity Government).
The KIA produces PDF insurgents within Myanmar’s 2021 political crisis by providing weapon supplies to the PDFs . Not only this, the KIA also committed deep-down in the military operations occurred in Sagaing Region between Tatmadaw and the PDFs .
“Recently, local PDF members raised questions to the KIA ‘why the KIA does not exchange fire with the Tatmadaw in Kachin State? But why in Sagaing Region?’ The KIA is moving its headquarters to the India border territorially connected between Sagaing Region and Chin State,” said the source.
KIA’s vision is flaming war conflicts in the territories where the majority population ‘Burmese’ are living; and let the Burmese fights to each other, which in turn, leading a weak in Burmese ethnicity. On the other hand, there is a weapon market in which firearms produced by the KIA are selling and purchased by the PDFs using donations or other fabricated income sources.
“It has been already schemed by the US-led group not to accept the peace dialogue invited by the SAC. That’s why the KIA is the very first group that rejects the SAC’s invitation. I heard that China was disappointed with it (KIA’s reply to the peace invitation). Groups’ philosophies have divided into two: one does not want to be an enemy of China, and the other is American-oriented group. However, both groups have a mutual agreement with binding contract," the source told.
The news source remarked that instead of generating money from selling weapons and locating the headquarters only in Laiza, the KIA intends to be a powerful group designing to receive financial aids from the United States; in this case the US pushes pressure on India.
Kachin Independence Organization is reportedly plotting to manipulate in the nation’s conflicts as a catalyst or the warlord of a limited territory by making efforts interrupting the peace process at least in the next decade.
