Myanmar replaces with subordinate diplomats in Germany, Brunei, Australia

The government of Myanmar retrieved ambassadors from Germany, Brunei, and Australia, and has substituted them with chargé d'affaires, according to Major General Zaw Min Tun.
Myanmar's ambassador to Berlin, Germany Yin Yin Myint was transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on May 9.
Kyaw Htin Lin, the consul from Myanmar consulate at Hong Kong was appointed as the chargé d'affaires at Myanmar Embassy in Berlin.
“Since two months ago, we have replaced the ambassadors from Germany, Australia, and Brunei with chargé d'affaires. I have told during the press conference that Myanmar will react the same action,” Maj. Gen. Zaw Min Tun said.
Myanmar ambassador to Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Htin Lin was transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on May 9.
Khin Sandar, the deputy director-general of the ASEAN Affairs Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was appointed as the chargé d'affaires at Myanmar Embassy in Bandar Seri Begawan.
Myanmar ambassador to Canberra, Australia Thar Aung Nyunt was transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on April 29. Thet Tun, the deputy director-general of the Department of Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was appointed as the chargé d'affaires at the Myanmar Embassy of Australia.
“We continue maintaining friendly relations with the nations as per the country’s foreign policy. However, we will react to the same action from them in an aspect of diplomacy. Therefore, we retrieved ambassadors from these three countries replacing them with the subordinate diplomats,” Maj. Gen. Zaw Min Tun said.
Embassies of Germany, Australia, and Brunei in Myanmar appointed the chargé d'affaires instead of ambassadors.
