Deadly terror attack in Magwe’s Pauk tsp: 41 houses destroyed, seven killed

A total of 41 residential houses were destroyed in fire ablaze during the terror attack in Tatkon Village located in Pauk Township of Magwe Region by the terrorists, according to the Myanmar Police Forces.
Seven civilians died in the incident injuring one.
The incident took place on July 26 at an estimated 6:05 am. Approximately 300 members of the terrorist group fired the village from 400 meters south from the village with weapons, handmade rocket launchers and guns. Then, the terrorists torched the houses, according to the police.
When the security forces went to the scene to investigate, terrorists ambushed the security forces from 100 meters south from the village. Both parties exchanged fire, said the police forces.
Two members of the village defense forces San Min Aung and Tin Maung Win, villagers Khin Myin Soe died from gun injuries. Two adult villagers Win and his wife Khaing Hnin Kyi, and two children Thone Nadi Moe and Nyan Lin Aung died from burning.
