Village administrator in Mandalay shot

On August 1 at an estimated 10:30 am, a village administrator was shot in Nganzun town located in Mandalay by a group of terrorists, according to the Myanmar Police Forces.
The village administrator was injured in the incident.
The incident happened when the village administrator Thein and his sister Ma Nyo San traveled to Nganzun town from their village known as Si Kaung by motorcycle, they were shot by 7 terrorists.
The village administrator injured the gun wound in the neck and chest while the sister was injured in the waist.
The two victims are receiving medical treatment at the Nganzun Township Public Hospital, according to the police.
