Guns and explosive devices seized within a primary school in Monywa

Hand-made guns, grenades, and explosive devices were seized within a primary school located in Sithar village, Monywa on September 23, according to the information released by State Administration Council.

The statement said, counter-terrorism forces of the State were reported hidden weapons by the public and conducted an investigation in the area surrounding Sithar village; from where, three hand-made guns, four hand-made bombs, two 12 Volt batteries, three hacksaws, 40 saw blades, one welding machine, 50 welding sticks, wires, sack bags, related accessories, 43 piston liners, bullet jacket and other related materials for explosive devices were seized.

In January, the PDFs took footholds and built a military base in a primary school located in Marathein village, Monywa. The terrorists’ military base within the primary school built sandbag defense along the fence of the school compound, mining within the compound, sandbag bunkers, and training field for terror activities to commit terror deeds and use school children as the human shield.

Lately, terrorists frequently used civilians and school children as a human shield.

On September 22, the terrorists fired against the State-forces from a primary school located in Latyetgon village, Depeyin township and used school children as a human shield.
