The Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) Senior General #Min_Aung_Hlaing underlined the destructive forces from both domestic and external in formulating the #peace. And peace will be attained only through meetings and political dialogues among the ethnics without the interference of external forces.
He addressed it in his message delivered to mark the 67th Anniversary of #Kayin_State Day which falls on 7th November.
‘It is critical that both the #NCA signatory groups and non-signatory groups must go forward to the peace for the sake of the State's well-beings and interests.” he said.
Currently, the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee-#NSPNC is conducting engagements in different ways including both informal and formal meetings; and even virtual meetings with the stakeholders.
At present, two EAOs from Kayin State: the KNU/KNLA-PC and the DKBA attended the peace talk invited by the SAC. On the other hand, the State armed forces and KNU troops frequently exchange fire in the territories of Kayin State.
