The paramilitary forces of India, the Assam Rifles, reportedly said ‘No explosion occurred on Mizoram side during aerial strikes in #Myanmar’, the New Indian Express reports.

The #Tatmadaw (Myanmar military) dropped bombs on the headquarters of the Chin National Front (CNF) – #Camp_Victoria, on January 10 evening.

The CNF is one of the insurgent groups that make ally itself with the terrorists PDFs. The CNF, despite of the NCA-signatory group, bleached of terms and conditions agreed in the #Nationwide_Ceasefire_Agreement several times. The CNF provides military training to the terrorist PDFs under the command of the shadow government NUG.

The CNF Chairman Pu Zing Cung recently proclaimed that the CNF will make efforts at all costs to deter the upcoming election from standing together with the NUG.

Indian medias reported that the targets were right next to the international border line, the Mizoram-Myanmar border river Tiau, but on the Myanmar side.

However, British newspaper The Guardian stated that Myanmar jets dropped at least two bombs inside Indian territory during the aerial bombardment.
