Railway services in Pa-O region to be uplifted: Senior General

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing expects to upgrade the railway services in #PaO_Self_Administered_Zone (SAZ) as part of the extended railway track of the Nyaung Shwe-Taunggyi Railroad.
He visited and inspected the progress of the innovation project of Nyaung Shwe-Taunggyi Railroad on March 6; Senior General expressed the plan to upgrade the railroad systems in the Pa-O SAZ during his visit.
The Shwe Nyaung -Taunggyi railway upgrading project aims to improve the accessibility of local travelers, for promoting trade routes of commodities, mines, mineral products, and local products in the region; and promote the tourism industry.
The information is released after Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with the Leader of Pa-O National Liberation Party (PNLO) Aung Kham Hti in Kyauktalonegyi township, Shan State in recent days.
