PDFs’ weapons seized in a primary school in Magwe

Authorities seized weapons and ammunitions that were kept at a local primary school in Magwe Region by the PDF terrorists, according to the announcement released by the State Administration Council (SAC).

Crossfire occurred between State security forces and #PDF_terrorists in Pauk Township in Magwe on March 9 at an estimated 10 am.

The terrorists started shooting at the security forces from the primary school which is situated on 300-meter northern part of village. After the crossfire, the security forces investigated and searched the primary school and found weapons and ammunitions.

SAC reported that they seized 10 handmade guns, 14 handmade mines, 3 handmade cartridges, 88 bullets in different types, 18 handmade grenades, one welding machine, one stone cutter, one drill, three detonators, six motorbikes and other related items.

“The security forces are conducting necessary security operations and the captured arms and ammunitions will be transferred according to the procedures.” SAC said.
