Seven ethnic armed forces that signed the #Nationwide_Ceasefire_Agreement and the National Solidarity and Peace Negotiation Committee (#NSPNC) are expected to convene the informal meeting in Naypyidaw for two days on March 28 and 29.

Seven EAOs that will meet with the NSPNC involve RCSS, PNLO, ALP, DKBA, KNU/KNLA – PC, LDU and NMSP.

The Colonel Saw Kyaw Nyunt said that before official talks on internal peace can be held, the informal discussion is aimed to implement Joint Ownership which can proceed to the official talks since the informal meetings are expected to be convenient for both sides.

Formulation of the multiparty democratic system; building a federal democratic Union; and constructing the Union peace will be highlighted in the informal meeting.

Commander-in-Chief of the Defense Services, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, invited the leaders of ethnic armed groups to meet in person. A total of ten EAOs join in the peace talks invited by Senior General.
