13 oil tankers from Singapore arriving before 16th April

According to the State Administration Council (SAC), a total of 13 oil tankers which carry more than 60m Gallons of fuel from Singapore will be arriving before 16th April for ensuring sufficient #fuel supply for both Pre and Post Thingyan periods.

The process is conducted by coordination and arrangement of the supervisory committee for fuel import, storage and distribution, Ministry of Energy, and Myanmar Petroleum Trade Association.

Fuel imported from Singapore has been arrived at Thilawa fuel storage jetties starting from 4th April. It is expected that more than 60.83 million Gallons of fuel are arriving before mid-April.

There are a total of 89.7 million gallons of reserved fuel at the terminals as of April 4 including more than 41 million gallons of 92 RON, more than 10 million gallons of 95 RON, more than 1.7 million gallons of 97 RON, more than 19 million gallons of Diesel and more than 18 million gallons of Premium Diesel.

The respective supervisory officer from states and regions are supervising whether suppliers are selling at the reference prices or not, and whether fuels are supplied to the fuel stations or not.
