Heavy Wind Destroys Residential Houses and Monasteries in Magwe’s Aunglan

A total of 22 houses and three monasteries were grounded by the heavy wind in Aunglan township located in Magwe Region.

The incident broke out on May 9 at an estimated 5 pm, according to the fire service department in Aunglan.

At the time being, damaged houses and buildings are being repaired by the villagers and rescue forces, according to the official from the fire service department.

Those 22 residential houses and three monasteries are from Zaygone Ward, Yaypyin village, Yayhai village, Shwe Thuhtay village, Sitaung village and U-Yin village in Aunglan.
