Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of Russia Federation reveals willingness to assist for Myanmar’s election

Russia Federation’s Deputy Chairman of the State Duma, H.E. Mr.Sholban Kara-Ool, revealed Moscow’s willingness to assist Myanmar when conducting the election.
He addressed it when visited and met with Chairman of the Myanmar’s State Administration Council (SAC), Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, in Taunggyi, Shan State on May 30, according to the statement released by the SAC.
They discussed for promoting bilateral cooperations between two countries in various areas including transportation, electricity production and development.
Other topics during the meeting involved progresses and situations of Moscow’s assistance for Mocha affected areas; and plans to help in the matters relating to holding of free and fair General Election in Myanmar.
The Army Chief and Deputy Chairman of the State Duma also talked over the promotion of bilateral interactions between two countries’ citizens and the promotion of tourism sectors.
It is also reported that the Deputy Chairman of the State of Duma also met with Vice Chairman of the SAC, Vice-Senior General Soe Win on 30th May.
