According to a local person, the incident took place at 26th street, between 74th Street and 75th Street, Sitaramahi Ward.
According to a responsible person from Mandalay Region Government, the artillery shell fell and exploded, causing damage to nearby structures. The two-storied concrete house had an 8-feet-wide damage on its roof, while the house next to it had a 15-feet-wide damage on its roof. Additionally, a nearby public vehicle was slightly damaged.
The explosion destroyed three 80-feet cables, but fortunately, no one was hurt, as per information.
The abovementioned source stated that pieces of shells were found at the explosion site, and security forces are conducting necessary investigating the attack to the civilian area to be able to take action on these assaults.
