Myanmar earns over 4300 mln USD from garment within 9 months

Union Minister for Labour Myint Naung stated that the country generated 4316.89 million USD from garment sector from January to September 2023.
He underlined it during meeting with representatives from UMFCCI on 13th October in Yangon.
A total of more tgan 130 factories were established from 2005 to 2010, he stated. Japan and Korea are the major buyers of garments manufactured by Myanmar.
After 2011, he continued, there are 788 CMP factories in Myanmar.
