4 killed in shootings in Khin-U

A total of four including one Buddhist monk and one female civilian were killed in shooting in Khin-U, according to residents.

The incident happened on Oct 17 at an estimated 7:20 am in Khin-U, Shwebo District, Sagaing Region.

Two security forces were killed in attack by terrorists in Khin-U. The terrorists reportedly took two MA-1 rifles from the soldiers.

In addition, a Buddhist monk and a civilian woman were killed by gun shooting.

At present, authorities are investigating the necessary security measures on the case.
