
On 24th October, at the office of UMFCCI, the Director of Chongqing Municipal People's Government, Foreign Affair Office Mr. Zhao Yin, and representatives met with the Senior officers from UMFCCI to talk about economic cooperation, investment, and trading matters along the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor.
During the discussion, they talked on trading, transportation, and smooth functioning of the work along the corridor and conditions of cooperation with Myanmar.
In addition, they also discussed the potential for economic cooperation, production, and digital transformation matters between Myanmar and China (Chongqing) for development processes along the Corridor.
The New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor is a trade and logistics passage that was jointly built by provincial level regions in western China and member economies of the ASEAN. It is also one of the key projects under the Belt and Road Initiative, which was initiated by China and has a big impact on regional transportation, trade, and economic development.
