TNLA insurgents attack security outpost increasing battle tension in Namhkan

It is reported that the TNLA insurgents attacked the security outpost located at Shweli Bridge that connects Shan State's Namkham town and Kachin State's Manwaing town, according to the statement released by the TNLA. The attack was reportedly a part of Operation 1027 and was conducted on November 3 early morning.
The TNLA statement said that the TNLA seized weapons and ammunitions at around 7 am after they conquered the station.
What is more, clashes occurred between the military and TNLA that increase military tension in Namhkam town yesterday (November 3).
As a matter of fact, the MNDAA, TNLA, and AA insurgent groups conducted a military operation named ‘Operation 1027’ that was started on October 27th in the northern Shan State.
Chinshwehaw, Hpawnghseng and Kyukoke towns are now under the control of those three allied insurgent group, as per reports.
Commander-in-Chief of the Defense Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing affirmed that counter-terrorism responses will be carried out since the insurgents raided the security outposts.
The spokesperson of the State Administration Council Major General Zaw Min Tun informed the news outlets that the Tatmadaw definitely will protect the country’s independence, sovereignty and territory with utmost efforts.
