Information Minister attends China-ASEAN Information Harbour in Wuzhen

The Union Minister for Information Maung Maung Ohn attended the 2nd Dialogue on China-ASEAN Information Harbour and gave speech at the event.
The event was held as part of the 2023 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit.
In his speech, he highlighted that the China-ASEAN Information Harbour plays a crucial role in building the China-ASEAN community, and Myanmar is actively cooperating in the related process. He also urged to deepen cooperation in the economy, e-government establishment, public digital services, transnational information, and people-to-people exchanges.
The China-ASEAN Information Harbour was launched in 2016 and it is a Digital Silk Road project connecting China and ASEAN countries. It also promotes the bilateral cooperation between China and ASEAN countries through internet network and information exchanges, especially five platforms – infrastructure, information sharing, technology cooperation, economic and trade services, and people-to-people exchanges as “One Base, One Centre, One Pillar and Two Clusters”.
