Armed conflict in Myawady continue intenes; locals call for no fire zone

Armed conflict around Myawady Town in Kayin State has been increasingly intense. Residents are calling for no fire zone in Myawady.
KNU, KNLA and PDF terrorists launched military assaults to Light Infantry Battalion No. 275 yesterday.
The battle has destroyed Myawady trade zone anf Seinlemyaing bus terminal. Although the fire exchange has not on the city yet, report states that Myawady residents are departing for the Thailand border areas.
Myawady residents staged a protest yesterday evening to stop war on Myawady city calling for regarding the town as no fire zone.
In recent months, the KNLA and its affiliated PDF terrorists launched military assaults in Kawkareik, Thingannyinaung, Ywarthit, Waitshan and Maepale areas and people from those places had to flee to Myawady.
Houses in war-torn Kawkareik city were totally destroyed. The insurgents reportedly stole properties of the Kawkareik residents who left their houses in the battles.
