Myanmar universities, Chongqing University to cooperate in the education sector

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs report, universities in Myanmar and Chongqing University will cooperate in educational sectors.
The move came after meeting of U Kyaw Zayar Lin, the Myanmar consulate general in Chongqing and the Vice-Rector of Chongqing University Mr. Jun Yang on February 24. They discussed issues related to promoting educational cooperation between universities in Myanmar and Chongqing University.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on issues of research cooperation between universities in Myanmar and Chongqing University, exchange of teachers and students between the two universities, scholarships provided by Chongqing University, and other cooperation in the education sector.
Chongqing University is increasingly popular among international students, though it may not have the same level of global recognition as some of China's top universities like Peking University or Tsinghua University. However, it is one of the key universities in southwestern China and has been expanding its international student programs in recent years.
Chongqing University offers a variety of programs in English, especially in fields like engineering, business, and technology, which attract students from countries around the world. The university also has numerous exchange partnerships with universities abroad, making it a good choice for international students seeking to study in China.
