Yangon’s Bogyoke Aung San Museum to temporarily close for over 20 Days

The Bogyoke Aung San Museum (Yangon) will be temporarily closed for about 20 days, from June 17 to July 18, for preparatory work to hold a special exhibition commemorating the 78th anniversary of Martyrs' Day, according to sources.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, Department of Archaeology and National Museums, announced the closure of the museum on June 16.
The museum will be reopened on July 19, Martyrs' Day, and visitors will get free admission for observation as in previous years.
Currently, preparations for the exhibition, including cleaning and room layouts, are underway.
The Bogyoke Aung San Museum, which was once the home of General Aung San, is open to the public for observation. It is located at No. 25, Bogyoke Museum Lane (formerly Tower Lane), Bo Cho Ward (1), Bahan Township, Yangon. –
