Shan State Army to build more powerful force of party and its armed-wing

Shan State Army (SSA) announced on April 24, its 58th anniversary, to build a more powerful force that is combined by the party, its armed-wing, and forces.
The SSA celebrated its 58th anniversary in Wan Hai where the headquarters of the Shan State Progressive Party is located. A total of 3400 participants including the central committee members, its commanders and riflemen, and the public attended the event.
The statement said that the SSA is responsible to protect and serve the interest of people as it was born by the public. The armed-wing and the public should have a good relationship in an interdependent way.
The SSPP continues providing political leadership for the public, according to the announcement.
