Jetty be built to visit National Races Village (Yangon) by cruise vessel

Building jetty project is underway to visit the National Races Village (Yangon) by cruise ship across the Bago River.
On May 17, Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs Saw Tun Aung Myint inspected the Botahtaung Jetty at which Toe Pwar cruise vessel was docked for carrying out transporting and constructing the berth.
"We must develop the National Races Villages to have a stunning look and relaxation. Responsible officers at every level have to conduct the quarterly meeting to submit the progress of the work and for receiving the budget targets.
Additionally, artesian wells will be made to distribute water at the ethnic houses located in the village.
The National Races Village is located at No. 10, North Ward of Thaketa Township, Yangon Region. The village was started constructed in April 1994 near Yangon-Thanlyin Bridge on a total of 117 acres. It was opened in 2002. National Races Village is situated on the bank of the Bago River.
