Three killed in shooting and blast in Sagaing, injuring a monk

A man was killed and a monk was injured in a blast that occurred in Sagaing Region’s Chaung-U on July 8 at an estimated 7 pm near Milepost No. 71 on the bank of Monywa-Mandalay Road, according to Myanmar Police Forces (MPF).
A 25 years old man ‘Min Htet’ and Sayadaw U Kuthala from Monywe Village located in Monywa went along the Monywa-Mandalay Road at an estimated 7 pm on July 8. Two handmade bombs blasted when the two victims arrived at the incident scene, according to the MPF.
The 25 years old victim died on the way to Chaung-U hospital from the blast injury.
A woman 54 years old who was selling groceries in the street market located in Monywa was shot to kill by two men with a motorcycle on July 7 at an estimated 11 am. The victim died on the spot, according to the MPF.
Again on July 7 at an estimated 4:05 am two men with a motorcycle shot and killed a 43 years old man ‘Moe Myint Swe’ in a teashop located in Hlataw Village, Watlet Township of Sagaing Region, according to police.
