Drone blasts at local party office in Sagaing killing one

Office of the National Unity Party located in Sagaing Region was hit by drone attack on August 26 at an estimated 11:30 am killing a 14 year old girl, according to Myanmar Police Forces.
The office is located in Arthawka Ward, Myinmu Township.
Terrorists from Hteesaung Village dropped a drone on the political party office. The drone blasted at the entrance of the office, police said.
A 14 year olds girl, named Ku Ku Lwin, who was sitting near the gate, was hit by flying bomb debris. While she was being taken to the hospital, died on the way, police confirmed.
On the same day at an estimated 4 pm, an explosion occurred at township electricity office located in No. 9 Ward, Hlaing Township of Yangon Region, Myanmar Police Forces announced.
In the incident, a walking man who came from Insein threw a grenade into the office from the road side and then escaped. The bomb destroyed parts of the windows and doors of the office.
Another bomb which had not yet exploded was found near the electricity office. The bomb was defused by counter-terrorism forces, the police forces said.
